Workshop - Alberta Colleges and Institutes Faculties Association May 2026

I am excited to present a workshop for the Alberta Colleges and Institues Faculties Association this coming May. The topic is Immersive Interest: Helping Learners Thrive in the Space Between Certainty and Possibility. In a rapidly shifting educational landscape, students often feel pressure ti remain constantly focused, productive, and certain. Yet some of the most meaningful learning happens in the in between moments. This workshop will explore how we can apply that concept.

May 4, 2026, Jasper, Alberta

Style: Presentation

Duration: 1 hr

Topic: Immesive Interest as a Learning Style (TIME Method)

Feeling grateful to be in beautiful Jasper while presenting at the ACIFA Conference—but even more grateful for the people I get to work with every day. Being away has a way of creating space to reflect, and it’s reminded me how fortunate I am to be surrounded by thoughtful, committed colleagues who show up with care, curiosity, and heart. The work we do together, and the conversations that continue long after the workday ends, are what truly ground and motivate me. Taking this appreciation home with me.
