The Educator Experience Podcast

Updated: Jun 21

I’m excited to be joining The Educator Experience Podcast soon for a conversation about something I believe deserves far more attention in education — customer service.

Not customer service in the sense of marketing, promotion, or “the customer is always right,” but customer service as a mindset of support, purpose, communication, and human connection. Education is built on relationships, and every interaction matters. The way students are welcomed, supported, guided, and encouraged can shape not only their educational experience, but also their confidence, motivation, and ability to succeed.

We often talk about curriculum, outcomes, policies, and systems, but sometimes we forget that behind every email, conversation, classroom, or meeting is a person trying to navigate learning, growth, uncertainty, and change. Customer service in education is about recognizing that reality and responding with professionalism, empathy, consistency, and care.

I’m looking forward to discussing how strong service culture within education can help students feel valued, help teams feel supported, and create learning environments where people are more likely to thrive. It is not about lowering standards — it is about raising the quality of the experience while still maintaining accountability, expectations, and purpose.

Thankful for the opportunity to join the conversation and share perspectives on leadership, education, support, and the human side of learning. Looking forward to this discussion and the important conversations that continue afterward.
