Presentation: Standing in Your Power: Leading with Strength, Focus, and Immersive Interest

Audience Fit

This session is designed for small business owners, women and men in leadership, emerging leaders, and team leads who manage people with diverse personalities, working styles, and strengths, and who want to lead with confidence while remaining authentic.

Purpose of the Session

Many leaders—particularly women and small business owners—are highly skilled yet struggle to balance decisiveness with empathy, direction with flexibility, and structure with creativity. This presentation explores how leaders can stand confidently in their role while honoring both their own strengths and those of the people they lead. Using Immersive Interest as a leadership lens, participants learn how to guide teams toward focus, productivity, and meaningful work without forcing uniformity or causing burnout.

Abstract

Leadership today requires more than managing tasks—it requires understanding people. Small business owners and women in leadership often lead teams made up of diverse personalities, energy levels, and working styles, while also carrying vision, responsibility, and execution. This session introduces Immersive Interest as a practical leadership approach that helps leaders recognize strengths, channel focus, and align people with the work that energizes them most. Rather than forcing productivity through pressure or rigid systems, Immersive Interest allows leaders to guide projects and teams by leveraging curiosity, deep engagement, and natural capability. Participants will explore how to stand in their power while remaining flexible, how to balance personalities with clear guidance, and how to design roles, tasks, and projects that support focus and follow-through.
